Music, books and great writing transform lives and inspire generations. Celebrating the Power of Music, The Big Eurovision Read brought 12 – ‘douze’ – recommendations for great reads.
This piece was produced by The Reading Agency and BBC Arts who shared an inspiring booklist full of brilliant suggestions, from fiction to autobiographies, curated by librarians from across the UK.
Visitors could explore and enjoy the books at the Reading Den – a dedicated space as part of EuroFestival – and they were invited to add their own suggestions of books about the power of music.
Working in partnership with Liverpool Libraries, the Reading Dens were open to all as a space to relax with a book or to join a workshop or walking tour.
