San Jiao (Three Angles) is a contemporary, urban dance fusion featuring Chinese fans. Dance material was created using the I Ching, or ‘Book of Change’, by throwing coins to create yin and yang lines. The lines make up hexagrams, each with a different meaning, archetype or possibility, as described in the ancient I Ching.

This piece is choreographed by Penny Caffrey (Movema Co-director) with Helen Wilson (RISE dance) and Issie Lloyd (Funk Supreme).
