Young Everyman Playhouse (YEP) is recruiting for their 2026 cohort, inviting young people aged 14 to 25 to apply for a range of exciting theatre programmes. Whether you’re passionate about acting, directing, producing, writing, technical theatre, or advising, YEP offers a creative space to explore your potential and shape your future in the industry.
Programmes are available for young actors aged 14–17 and 18–26, tech participants in both age groups, as well as aspiring directors, producers, writers, and young advisors. Each programme is designed to take participants on a journey through the theatre-making process, offering hands-on experience, consistent support, and professional guidance.
Applications open on Thursday 9 October and close on Sunday 2 November. An open day will be held on Tuesday 28 October, giving prospective applicants the chance to visit our space, meet the team, and learn more about the sessions, schedules, and opportunities available.
YEP is a place of playful creativity where young people can be themselves, tell stories, and gain real-world experience in the creative industry. Working alongside outstanding professional artists, participants will develop their creativity, learn new skills, earn qualifications, and build lasting friendships in a welcoming and supportive environment.
If you’re aged 14–25, you can also access £5 theatre tickets for selected shows right away.
