Enable You CIC will deliver inclusive Boccia sessions for people of all ages with physical disabilities, long-term health conditions and additional support needs, alongside opportunities for family members and carers to take part.
The project will provide regular, accessible activities in a welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy sport regardless of ability. Participants will develop physical coordination, confidence, communication and social connections while reducing isolation and improving wellbeing. We will also create opportunities for volunteers to gain skills and support session delivery, strengthening community involvement.
By removing barriers to participation, the project will ensure that people who are often excluded from mainstream sport can enjoy the benefits of being active and part of a team. We expect the project to build lasting friendships, improve mental and physical health, and increase confidence to engage in other community activities. Ultimately, the project will create a more inclusive, connected community where everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong and thrive.
