As Weekend Welcome Host, you will work as part of Norton Priory’s front of house team delivering excellent customer care and supporting the retail offer through close working with the Facilities and Premises Manager.
As part of a close-knit team, the Weekend Welcome Host helps to create a positive and memorable experience for everyone who walks through the museum’s doors. They support the Trust’s objectives through excellent customer service and a warm welcome, providing a first point of contact, as well as answering the telephone and responding to email enquiries.
This role will require working on reception, so being confident, knowledgeable and approachable are key assets. As a Weekend Welcome Host your work will be on a rota basis and dependant on business need. Working hours will require regular weekend, Bank holiday and occasional evening working. This role includes assisting with general housekeeping and preparing the site ready for opening to the public
In addition to front of house duties, you may also be called on to support with preparation and delivery of events, weddings and other public facing programmes as required. Norton Priory delivers a wide range of events, including activity both inside and outside of normal site opening hours
