Liverpool Irish Festival is proud to work with volunteers. Our volunteers help us talk about the Festival, provide audiences with great experiences and help us to collect information. In a practical way, they help our venues deliver a wide variety of activities and shows, ensuring each is of great quality and thoroughly enjoyable.
We are now recruiting for Festival volunteers ahead of this year’s Festival, which runs 15th-25th October 2026.
Our volunteer cohort helps us to deliver the Festival programme. Volunteers attend events at agreed times, helping to set up; as well as meeting artists and venue partners and greeting audiences. You’ll help us to gather information and pack events down, and get to enjoy the events in between. This is very much a public-facing role and a chance to gain experience of events and the arts/culture/heritage industries.
