Liverpool’s major sporting events are catalysts for improved health, wellbeing and community connection – and with Tour de France 2027, a new multisport and culture festival, and EURO 2028 ahead, the scale of opportunity is significant.
We are now seeking a Social Impact Coordinator to lead the overall social impact programme across Liverpool and coordinate delivery with partners across the wider Liverpool City Region.
What you’ll do
Lead planning and integration of social impact priorities aligned with the Liverpool Active City Strategy.
Coordinate delivery across sport, culture and community strands, ensuring alignment with neighbourhood priorities.
Oversee the work of the Social Impact Officers.
Build trusted relationships with partners across sport, education, voluntary, community and LCR authority partners.
Support inclusive physical activity, culture and community programmes.
Ensure effective budget management and compliance with funding requirements.
Collect, analyse and share data, stories and evaluation insights.
Promote shared learning and celebrate successes across programmes.
