Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership (LCR DP) is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the region. Owned by both Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, it is responsible for promoting the six Local Authority areas as a global destination for visitors, conferences and investment.
As PR & Stakeholder Manager this role will be responsible for developing and delivering the communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement strategy, and lead and implement the development of the internal and external communication strategy for the organisation.
The post-holder will have extensive experience of working in a communications role at a senior level with a proven track record demonstrating the ability to secure media coverage across a range of consumer and trade titles and have experience in delivering highly engaging PR activity.
Reporting directly to and working closely with the Head of Marketing you will shape, deliver and evaluate a reputation-led, digitally focused communications strategy. You will raise the national and international profile of Liverpool City Region (LCR) as a place to visit, meet, live, invest, and study and be responsible for communicating effectively with internal audiences, partners and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
