West Kirby Musical Theatre Company is looking for a permanent Musical Director following the recent retirement of Rob Bowness.
We are looking for a Director with a track record of experience in conducting, leading and shaping concerts and shows and to maintain West Kirby Musical Theatre Company’s dynamic reputation for singing and performance. The successful individual will have energy, vision and the creativity to lead us to the next phase of West Kirby Musical Theatre Companies musical journey.
The Musical Director will be responsible for planning and leading weekly rehearsals, conducting the company and musicians during show weeks. They will also work collaboratively with the Committee regarding the selection of music for concerts and other events.
Monday rehearsals last 2.5 hours. When we have shows are concerts coming up we rehearse Wednesdays and Sundays. So hours per week range from 2.5 to 10 hours. We pay £280 per month.
