Harnessing the Chaos: A Writing Workshop with Keith Saha – 20 Stories High

Volunteering at the World Boxing Championships Liverpool 2025

Be a part of the team bringing these incredible championships to Liverpool! Be part of the action, support world class boxers reach their full potential, meet new people and learn new skills. Venue operations. he World Boxing Championships 2025 has multiple roles that are open to everyone, from those that have previous experience of working at major events, to people that have never worked at one before and are looking to get their first taste of what it feels like to be part of a team delivering a major global sporting competition. Story Telling Evaluation – Training Opportunity

As part of our Talent Development Initiative, Liverpool’s Royal Court are excited to offer free training in Storytelling Evaluation. Storytelling Evaluation is a way of assessing programmes or schemes by using communication, open questions and free flowing conversation. Those who take part and complete the training will then be qualified to apply for paid evaluation work with the Royal Court, specifically our Mentor Creatives Scheme. This method of evaluation is particularly useful for those working on creative and community based projects. The method can be broadly broken down into three stages: STORY COLLECTING: A Story Collector will talk, one – on – one, with a participant of a scheme and use open ended questions to get a truthful, nuanced and personal account of their experience. This typically take thirty to sixty minutes. These conversations are recorded, then handed over to an editor. EDITING: The Editor will transcribe the recorded conversation, in full. They will then edit this down to a single page document that summarises the participants story, while still maintaining the truth of their voice and experience. SHARING: The finished stories are shared with those organisations or individuals responsible for the programme that is being evaluated. The stories are read and used as a launching off point for what worked about the project, what did not, and what can be done to improve it in the future. The training, hosted by Old Fire Station, offers opportunities to train in either or both of the following roles: Story Collecting: 5hr, preferably in person but online will be considered. Transcribing and Editing: 2hr, in person or online. We welcome applications from those who wish to train in both positions. The training will happen at the end of July – exact date TBC. In Harmony Liverpool Musician Upper Strings

Liverpool Philharmonic’s In Harmony programme has gone from strength to strength over the years, now working with over 1750 children across North Liverpool. We are looking to recruit a Violin/Viola musician to work with young people aged 8-18 across our schools and 11-18 programmes. You'll be interested in using music to create social impact, have experience working with groups of young people of differing ages/abilities and be able to demonstrate a high level of musicianship on their instrument. Call out for event submissions focusing on the narrative of displacement, forced migration and resettlement

Join our calendar and be part of a growing F31 Community to celebrate, share and recognise arts and creativity in Merseyside focusing on the narrative of displacement, forced migration & resettlement  over the past year during F31: 2025. F31 is Merseyside's arts & cultural festival, celebrating underrepresented artists and broadening engagement with the experiences of displacement, forced migration and resettlement. SOLA is accepting submissions for this year's calendar of 'what's been happening & what's on' - showcasing arts & creative adventures / activities / explorations / exhibitions and events in the region. Submissions to the calendar will be reviewed and if deemed relevant to F31, we endeavour to upload within 14 days of submission. SOLA Arts and partners will promote your activity and showcase the great work happening to enable greater understanding and a counter-narrative to negative perceptions and gaps in knowledge & empathy about experiences of displacement and resettlement. We share via our social media;  Facebook, Instagram and Blue Sky and will be further shared via F31 community's own social media. Technical Production Manager

We are looking for a Technical Production Manager to lead the technical delivery of our shows. This is a unique opportunity to join the team at one of the UK's most exciting new music organisations. Since fully opening in the summer of 2021 we have played host to artists such as Nadine Shah, OMD, Doves, Black Country New Road, English Teacher, The Zutons, Nubiyan Twist, Dry Cleaning, The Coral, Bodega and many more, with a programme encompassing the best in contemporary alternative, jazz, electronic and experimental music. Future Yard is committed to providing a range of pathways for local young people to develop the skills needed to embark on careers within the live music industry. We view all of our events as learning opportunities and you will regularly have trainees shadowing and assisting you on live events. You will be passionate about passing on your skills to the next generation and embrace the culture of exchange and skill sharing on which Future Yard is built. NB - The position is available Full Time or on a reduced hours basis (details below). This flexibility is intended to support an ideal candidate who may wish to maintain an interest in work opportunities in the sector, alongside their role at Future Yard. Hays Travel Foundation – Charity Funding

As an organisation, we strive to help and improve the communities where we work and live, and this is something we believe we have a strong track record of accomplishing. Helping young people achieve and be the best they can be is part of our team's DNA, which is why in 2015 we created the Hays Travel Foundation. We set ourselves five main objectives with the main focus being on creating a brighter future for young people who need a bit of help to develop their potential. Our company was set up in 1980 and since we have proudly supported a large number of charitable organisations and causes. It is the mission of our foundation to continue to do so and help as many as possible. Registered charities in need of financial aid to support their overall mission or a particular project can apply for a grant by completing the form below. Please note that the focus of the Hays Travel Foundation is on helping young people in the areas where Hays Travel operates. Our next meeting will take place on 22nd July 2025. Applications received before this date will not be reviewed until the next meeting. Applications will go on a waiting list and will be reviewed as soon as possible. Due to the high volume of applications, we recommend that you request funding for projects starting in late 2025/2026.
