“Big Gig” returns to the Everyman on Saturday 18th July 2026, with poet Joseph Roberts as special guest.

The Choir with No Name (CWNN) Liverpool’s annual “Big Gig” returns to the Everyman on Saturday 18th July, with local poet Joseph Roberts as its special guest.

The choir, which involves people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, will provide an unforgettable, feel-good night of live music, poetry and community

The eagerly anticipated annual show will see the CWNN, a choir that involves people impacted by homelessness, raising the roof with its renowned uplifting and unifying performance of rock and pop classics and providing an unforgettable, feel-good night of live music, poetry and community.

They will be joined by 22-year-old Liverpool poet, Joseph Roberts, who will perform poems from his debut poetry album A Whole New Meaning VOL. 1. A true poet for the people with community cohesion at heart, Joseph’s work has featured on the likes of TNT Sports, Premier League, Amazon Prime and he has supported Dr. John Cooper Clarke.

The choir will also welcome guests Indigo Vibe, a jazzy, vibrant local choir who will perform a host of harmonic hits spanning soulful pop, blues, jazz, rock and R&B.

CWNN Liverpool Interim Choir Manager, Sonia Chapman, said:

“Our ‘Big Gig’ is one of the highlights of our performance calendar and we’re looking forward to once again taking to the stage of the Everyman to sing our hearts out and spread love, joy and a sense of togetherness.

“We’re excited to have Liverpool poet Joseph Roberts and Indigo Vibe joining us as well and look forward to welcoming people for a fantastic uplifting evening and a big summer celebration!”

All profits made through ticket sales and donations on the night support the cost of keeping the CWNN Liverpool’s weekly choir rehearsal running.

The ‘Big Gig’ takes place on Saturday 18th July at Liverpool Everyman Theatre, starting at 7:30pm. To buy tickets, visit: https://everymanplayhouse.com/event/the-choir-with-no-name-the-big-gig/
