On Monday 8 May, we celebrated the best of modern Ukrainian music in Liverpool.
To start the day, BBC Introducing brought the best of new music with performances from local artists, Zuzu, Crawlers and KOF and friends.
‘This is Ukraine’ proudly presented an extraordinary line up of Ukrainian music featuring Antytila, Go_A, alyona alyona, Ukraine’s Eurovision 2023 entry, Tvorchi and Jerry Heil.
It wasn’t just Ukrainian music that visitors could enjoy. A unique area at the Eurovision Village – Discover Ukraine – was dedicated to celebrating Ukrainian creatives, with a whole range of European food and drink across the site, making the Pier Head the place to spend time with family and friends and soak up the Eurovision atmosphere over the nine days.
