Merseyside Maritime Museum

Merseyside Maritime Museum contains a variety of objects associated with the social and commercial history of the port of Liverpool.

Border Force Open Days: Officers from the Border Force are here at the Maritime Museum to show us their role in protecting our Borders, with fun activities such as ‘Meet the Sniffer Dog’, Rummage, crafts and face painting, all free!

All Hands on Deck: Discover more about Liverpool’s maritime past as well as where some of our most famous phrases and sayings actually come from!

International Slavery Museum:

Sea Gods and Goddesses: Learn more about Haitian Voodoo gods and make your own sparkling sea gods or goddesses to take home.
