What does ‘home’ mean to you and your family?

Join artist Artist in Residence, Dora Colquhoun, for this family friendly workshop, where people of all ages will be invited to explore the concept of home, as part of the Welcome Home project. Dora, a neurodivergent writer, facilitator, performer, and theatre maker, will be co-facilitating the workshops with Liverpool’s very own Og the Giant! Og (AKA Isaac Nixon) is a children’s storyteller with a wealth of experience working with families to unlock their imagination through play and storytelling. Together, Dora and Og the Giant are set to create a welcoming space for fun, play, and creative exploration.

The Welcome Home project is part of Culture Liverpool’s Creative Neighbourhoods programme, which aims to address the needs of each community at a neighbourhood level, using co-creative practices to encourage local pride, a sense of place, inclusivity, accessibility and empowerment.

These family workshops will be a fantastic opportunity for families across Walton to explore the concept of home, together.

The family sessions will run from 11:30am – 12:45pm on the following days:
