Join our St Luke’s Bombed Out Church Open Day with a sensational performance by the Wall of Sound Community Choir! From Stevie Wonder to Lady Gaga, Fleetwood Mac to George Ezra, and a whole host more, the eclectic mix of artists and genres really does reach out to all members of the choir and audience. Explore St Luke’s history and enjoying the melodic sounds from this fantastic community choir.

Wall of Sound Community Choir was founded by Grace Allwood in May 2021. Built on a foundation of community and friendship through song, the choir has blossomed, spreading joy and harmony at various venues across Merseyside.

Why just listen when you can join in? Come to our weekly rehearsals every Thursday at Gateacre School, Belle Vale, at 7 pm. First session is free.

• St Luke’s Bombed Out Church is an open-air venue, remember to dress for the weather

• Bar & food available (within the surrounding gardens before you head in)

• Some seating will be available but this is offered on a first come first served basis

• There are no parking facilities at the venue, on street parking available around the area.

• The church grounds are a bit uneven and slippery when wet, keep this in mind when choosing footwear.

• There are gender-neutral portable toilets available onsite

Entry is by donation, suggested at £2 per person.
