Liverpool ONE has teamed up with Royal Albert Dock to bring a touch of Hollywood glamour to the city in the lead-up to Radio 1’s Big Weekend with The Walk of Stars 2-26 May and live entertainment 23-25 May, 1-5pm.
From 2–26 May, The Walk of Stars takes over the street between Liverpool ONE and Royal Albert Dock, featuring over 70 stars honouring this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend performers. From chart-toppers to rising talent, each star marks an artist set to appear at the festival – the perfect selfie spot for music fans heading into a huge month of live music.
During the three days of Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Friday 23 May – Sunday 25 May, 1pm – 5pm, get ready to turn up the volume and enjoy three days of free entertainment! The buzz of Radio 1’s Big Weekend is taking over both Liverpool ONE and Royal Albert Dock with with live music and loads of entertainment to enjoy.
At Liverpool ONE, the karaoke truck is back at the bottom of Sugar House Steps 23-25 May – this time with some extra special guest hosts including Niall O’Callaghan on Friday 23 May, Billie Clements on Saturday 24 May and Dylan Evans on Sunday 25 May. Whether you’re belting out a ballad or going full pop star, it’s your time to shine!
At Royal Albert Dock and hosted by Leanne Campbell, show off your moves, sing along, or just enjoy the atmosphere as their Time to Shine podiums are back 23-25 May.
