Welcome to the Royal Albion Britannia Hotel! The hostess of the world. Join Mooncup Theatre as they investigate the exploitation of the British Hotel Industry over the last century.

Using the research from Dr Eloise Moss, Senior Lecturer of Modern British History at The University of Manchester, this living exhibition will examine how the line between ‘service’ and ‘servility’ for hotel workers has always been distorted.

This will be followed by a vegan dinner and panel discussion about Modern Slavery, featuring Dr Eloise Moss, Jennie Taylor – Racial Justice Officer for The Diocese of Liverpool, Nana Berikishvili – Merseyside Organiser at POMOC and more.

The event will take place on Saturday 13th of July at 7:00pm at Metal Liverpool, Tunnel Road, Liverpool L7 6ND.

This performance will be a promenade walk around piece. There is wheelchair access available to the ground floor. Unfortunately there isn’t lift access to upstairs, where we will have one room of the exhibition.

Please email us at [email protected] if you have any access or dietary requirements in order to attend this event.
