Join St Luke’s Bombed Out Church to celebrate Lunar New Year with a breathtakingly display of art and culture in their beautiful and serene gardens!
This year’s installation features vibrant wildflowers made from upcycled plastic bottles, crafted by local schoolchildren and volunteers. Inspired by the rich biodiversity of East and South East Asia, these sculptures symbolize unity, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability.
Experience a celebration of art, culture, and community with this vibrant, eco-friendly display. Entry is free and suitable for all ages. Open from 11.00am – 5.00pm, Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 February.
Event Highlights:
- On Saturday 1 February enjoy a captivating traditional dance performance by Movema at 2.00pm.
- Celebrate the year of the wood snake and join artist Sarah Gallagher-Hayes to learn some basic willow-weaving skills to create and take away your own willow snake on Sunday 2 February.
- Savour delicious dishes from Kwok Wing, serving authentic flavours on site.
