Liverpool Buddhist Temple is happy to present a beautiful 30 foot-high Wesak Thorana, a free outdoor light display with over 40,000 dancing lights, sharing a traditional Buddhist story through colourful designs.
Join us on the evenings of May 30, 31, and June 1, 2026, as we come together to celebrate Wesak, a festival honouring the light, wisdom, and teachings of Buddhism.
The event starts at 6:30 PM with a Buddhist choir and other Wesak events
The Thorana lights will shine from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
This is a free, family friendly open air event, no booking needed. It’s a lovely experience for both children and adults. Come and enjoys light show and refreshments.
