Rock Your Socks is an annual Liverpool kindness campaign created by children’s author Sheryl Webster, creator of Kindness Rocks®. Now in its fourth year, the campaign runs from September- October 2026 and invites schools, nurseries, businesses, community groups and individuals across Liverpool to choose a day to wear their favourite, brightest or funniest socks to school or work, and donate a brand-new pair.
This year, donations are supporting Cash for Kids Liverpool and Paper Cup Coffee Liverpool, helping local children, families and people experiencing homelessness.
What began with a children’s book about a rockstar lion called Jonny Heart has grown into a wider community kindness project, involving schools, charities, community groups and thousands of children and families. Thousands of pairs of socks have been collected through previous Rock Your Socks campaigns.
This year, Jonny Heart is also appearing on big screens around Liverpool, helping to spread the campaign’s simple message: every pair makes a difference.
Whether you are a school, business, community group, nursery or simply an individual who wants to get involved, everyone is invited to Rock Your Socks and help turn one small act of kindness into something much bigger.
