Join Collective Encounters for the launch of Gender, Identity and Art: Breaking the Archetypal Mould, a brand new exhibition created by their Women in Action* group. Through powerful visual artworks, the exhibition explores shifting representations of gender, sexuality and womanhood, challenging traditional archetypes and celebrating diverse identities.
Come along to meet the artists, hear about the inspiration behind their work and be part of a conversation about health, wellbeing, working conditions, LGBT+ identity, and class struggle.
This exhibition is part of Radical Retrospectives, Collective Encounters’ programme celebrating 21 years of radical arts practice across the Liverpool City Region.
Trans women, non-binary, gender fluid and gender queer people who feel included by the term ‘women’ are always welcome to attend our women’s groups and events.
