Join us at Tate Liverpool + RIBA North for free family-friendly activities this summer, inspired by hot desert landscapes and the animals that live there.
From sand dunes to desertscapes, explore the wildlife, plants and ecosystems that thrive in these environments, and create your own wearable animal masks. Decorate your creations using hand-rubbed textures from our texture blocks and colourful collage materials. Take inspiration from artists in the Tate collection including Vita Celmins, Emily Kam Kngwarray and David Shrigley.
Our Learning Space is also open every day for visiting families – a space to relax and create with art games, colouring-in, books, toys and more!
