Join us and award-winning Malik Al Nasir is an author, poet and academic from Liverpool.

Being Black Muslim & experiencing intersectional racism Malik will go through his lived experience living in the UK Liverpool.

Malik traced his ancestry through his father Reginald Watsons line back to the sugar cane fields of Demerara in British Guiana. He uncovered new epic tales of enslavement and colonialism of the British Empire. He is researching this history for a PhD in history at University of Cambridge.

Islamophobic attacks shot up to 6000% a record high after the tragic death of the 3 girls in Southport which saw domestic terrorism take over the whole UK against Muslims, black and brown, migrant and refugee communities. Communities feeling unsafe and a sense of nostalgia reminiscent of 90s, NF marches to the 70s 80’s Race riots. We condemn all acts of violence directed at marginalised & vulnerable communities who came to support the British Empire.
