In 2023, Liverpool hosted the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. The Grand Final will took place in the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena on Saturday 13 May 2023.
Eurovision fever gripped everyone in the Liverpool City Region – and the UK. Liverpool’s ambition was to programme attention-grabbing, impactful city region-wide activity to make everyone feel part of this unique Eurovision experience. From volunteers and community engagement, right through to education activities, an unrivalled culture festival and an iconic fan village location… this was a Eurovision like no other.
