Radio 4 favourite and comedy legend John Shuttleworth is back with more hilarious stories and songs, performed on his trusty Yamaha organ, on Tuesday 11 February. Adam Kay’s Undoctored—the bestselling show of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023—follows his multi-million-copy bestseller This Is Going to Hurt, now a multi-BAFTA-winning BBC series. Expect an evening of laughter and tears as he shares his tales of life on and off the wards on Wednesday 12 February.
March kicks off with Lou Sanders, star of Dancing On Ice (ITV) and champion of Taskmaster (Channel 4). No Kissing in the Bingo Hall on Saturday 1 March is a show about being human, and she’s bringing all her own jokes—just like Tom Cruise does all his own stunts. Take a trip down memory lane with national treasure Si King on Wednesday 5 March. Enjoy an evening of memories, music, and laughter as he pulls back the curtain on the moments that made him who he is. On Thursday 17 April, Richard Herring makes a comeback to stand-up for the first time in six years with a brand-new show, Can I Have My Ball Back?—a candid and comedic take on his experience of being diagnosed with testicular cancer and how he overcame it. Join the ever-tasteful, often hilarious writer Jay Rayner on Friday 25 April as he celebrates 25 years as The Observer’s award-winning restaurant critic with the publication of Nights Out at Home, a memoir-in-recipes. On Saturday 26 April, Nigel Havers presents his first-ever solo show, offering a charming, witty evening full of behind-the-scenes gossip and tales of triumph (and disaster) from five decades in showbiz.
Star of Ted Lasso and Live at the Apollo, Ellie Taylor brings her new stand-up show, Palavering!, to the stage on Saturday 10 May. With her signature wit, she gleefully overshares everything about keeping the spark alive in marriage. Jenny Eclair takes to the stage on Saturday 7 June with her brand-new memoir show, Jokes Jokes Jokes Live!, celebrating the release of her hilarious memoir of the same name. The professional show-off brings her trademark humour and storytelling to this must-see event.
