Liverpool Old Hebrew Congregation was established around 1750 in Cumberland Street. As the community grew, it moved to three other locations around Liverpool and finally in 1874 to Princes Road. Princes Road Synagogue is a beautiful A Grade I Listed Building, designed by brothers W & G Audsley and is the oldest synagogue in Liverpool.
As part of this years Heritage Season, you can now experience the synagogue first-hand, with experienced tour guides who will explain the architectural and religious significance of the building and its Judaica.
Tours are available on Sunday 8 September 2024 at the following times:
