Featured in the Liverpool Echo, Michelle Odwyer was originally inspired by her grandmother to become a chef and offer budget healthy cooking classes.

Michelle Odwyer set up Bay Tree Cookery Academy in 2017, a community Interest company (CiC) initially contracted to work in adult education. She is an award-winning chef supporting and bringing communities together reduce food waste and eat well.

The event will feature a workshop alongside exploring the importance of food growing, our relationship with land and historically looking at the cultivation of food from people and place.

Come learn new recipes eat and take away some learning – shorts – history of people’s connection to land and it’s cultivation.
